While this does allow you to play Sudoku and has a wide range of difficulty levels, the user interface is infuriatingly slow to operate. It's not a touch screen, the panel below the screen is the only part that recognises the stylus. This means that you have to navigate a cursor around the screen to enter values, and it takes longer to enter a number than it does to figure out what it should be. Three of us tried it and none of was willing to bother trying a second game on it - steer clear

I really should have read the reviews before buying. It's rubbish. The numbers disappear when held in the wrong light. Like the Times Sudoku there is no way to record duplicates so one has to carry pencil and paper. Slow and infuriating. I really should have bought the Handheld model, the original and the best. I'm afraid this one will go as a raffle prize.

I had a problem in seeing the screen to use it you have to tilt the screen up and down to see the numbers, plus the line dividing the 9 squares is not thick enough and the numbers are small in my opinion the handheld game is not made very well.

Sudoku junkie
This is a great toy for any age. Once you start you just can't stop, from easy to very difficult the choice is yours, problem is, you forget to communicate with the family.

Great value and highly addictive
