A Work of Genius, 16 April 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Genisis: The First Book of Revelations (Hardcover)
First of all I have to mention that the title of this book is "Genisis: The First Book of Revelations" and not "Genesis" as is (or was) posted above. In this tour de force of the region surrounding Rennes Le Chateau and the mystery that surrounds it David Wood has mangaed to write the most compelling account one is ever going to read about this area and it's mystery. From the unique geometrical symbol he found and the interplay between it and another ancient symbol the reader is led from one outstanding revelation to another. ... along the way he explains the possible Egyptian connection and the true meaning of the ruins around this tiny little village of Rennes Le Chateau. It is tragic that this outstanding piece of detective work has not received more publicity while other books, not nearly as informative and well documented top the sales charts. For anyone who is interested in the Rennes le Chateau area and the mysteries that surround it ... this is a must read along with it's companion and second volume ... "Geneset: The Second Book of Revelations". Not since Henry Lincoln's "The Holy Place" has a book so well captured the mood and revealed it's secrets. It is truly an inspired work that should find itself on anyone's bookshelf who considers themselves enlightened. ... A master work ... A Work of Genius ! (Note: If I could I would have given it 10 stars ... It is that good !) Best Regards Don Barone ... And remember "Look for the Signs"

Genisis - the First Book of Revelations, 14 Nov 2003
This review is from: Genisis: The First Book of Revelations (Hardcover)
This extraordinary research ties together many of the discoveries made in recent years, starting with the Rennes-le Chateau affair, about the origins of intelligent man. Many earlier attempts to explain the mysteries of Rennes have been pooh-poohed by the establishment because no-one has been able to draw together the strings of all the specialities involved: archeology, history, religion, esotericism Egyptology etc. It is my belief the author has succeeded in doing it and that history is about to be re-written.

genisis the first book of revelations, 19 Aug 2003
This review is from: Genisis: The First Book of Revelations (Hardcover)
this book contains an excellent review of biblical history. it relates the biblical narative to earlier ritual and worship. As the hebrew spent many years in egypt, their religious beliefs would contain some egyptian material. this book shows how the religoius material of the bible is derived from earlier sources. for me though it lost a bit of credibility by suggesting extra terrestrial involvement in antiquity. i am not deriding this view point just disagreeing with it. the rest of the book is a well written and provides a glimpse of ancient belief and technology that modern archeologists are loathed to believe. there are threads of ancient beliefs systems that are still in use today. it shows how the ancients were not fools they were highly organised, ordered and had very complex astonomical data. at a time when modern archeologists believe they were without civilisation. in the first sections of the book, the author has constucted many geometric patterns and at first they seem hard to follow but the narrative of the book explains in detail the math and the reader is left in complete illumination. this book is a must for anyone with an interest in history or in religion of any kind. i would recomened this book to you.
