As I offer technical support to business, I often get a bit depressed when a perfectly serviceable piece of hardware approaches the scrapheap - it's just not environmentally sustainable.
This kind of drive has become a bit of a lame horse in the eyes of the industry - with good reason - but when replacing the older slower drive in a Sony VAIO, this was the only option (and supplier) I could find.
I am very pleased to report that it not only performs better, but also much quieter! It now behaves like a new machine which will extend it's life for some time to come.

As described, easy replacement with no problems as you would expect with a new part. Quick delivery. Recommended purchase.
Good quality drive at a good price.It's quieter than my old Toshiba it replaced. I am very happy with my purchase.

Works fine

good stuff
No problems. Samsung branded drive arrived in the mail within a few days. Just pulled out the damaged hard drive from my notebook PC and stuck this one in. Worked like a charm.

Great HDD
I upgraded my old friend's old laptop whit this HDD from 80 GB to 160 and this ATA HDD is very good... maybe the best part of the whole laptop :)
