Very quick delivery from supplier. The hard drive was extremely well packaged in a anti-static bag in a small box with plenty of foam padding and security tape. I put this hard drive straight into an external Icy Box enclosure and connected it to my Mac. It was identified straight away by Disk Utility which formatted it and created a new partition within a few minutes. So easy and fast to setup. The drive is excellent - it runs quietly and generates very little heat.

It's difficult getting old hardware. And old hardware is now more expensive than new hardware.
Which is a shame. My PC is capable of doing everything I want it to, so I don't want to upgrade. I think this Hard Drive is a rebranded western digital. So not too shabby! Pretty quiet too. Ghosted my failing (SMART) 160Gb drive to it. And I used Acronis, which also resized the partitions for me. Booted up, and everything is fine. Didn't have to reinstall anything. Haven't lost any data. And I have an extra 90GB of space.

faulty hard drive,

Recently had reason to purchase this item was excited to but but was disapointed when I attached it to my PC. I had to return it at cost back to the vendor who still has not acknowleged they have recieved the hard drive. Also I have to ring them on several occasions to confirm the above and when I will have my refund. Today is the 15.09.2009 11.48am and I still not had my refund all in all very very very bad service. One I will not recommend and not use again also amazon have not monitored this purchase.
