The first and most recognisable difference with the X-Mini II is that it's slighly larger than the original model. The X-Mini II now boasts a 40mm driver, that delivers an even richer and fuller sound.
The X-Mini II now boasts an improved battery life, a staggering 11 hours of continuous playback from just one charge.
A brand new feature to the X-Mini II is the "Buddy Jack" system. This allows you to connect one X-Mini II to another and another and... well, you get the picture. Capable of forming a near endless "Daisy Chain". Combine your X-Mini II with your friend's for quite simply jaw dropping audio!
The refinement of the original X-Mini continues with the inclusion of an inbuilt 3.5mm audio connection cable. No more running the risk of forgetting to pack the charging/connection lead when you leave... the connection cable is always in reach. The audio cable neatly slips away underneath the speaker when not in use.

This is a great little device with amazing sound for its size. It is excellent value for money and makes a nice little gift.

I attached these two to my Samsung Galaxy S2, which has just over 3,300 tracks of music recorded at 192Kbps and I tried them out with several types of music and to say the least I'm very impressed with the great sound quality that I got from them with everything from Rock to Ballads & Acoustic to Synthesizer stuff from Jean Michel Jarre & Vangelis it all sounds really great, with a nice bass sound when they are fully extended to a slightly more treble sound when squashed closed.
If the volume is a tad low, just a reminder there is a small volume control on the side of it, there also appears to be the possibility to attach a small split ring & small leash type carrying handle, also when you open the packet, don't miss the small fabric carrying/protection bag stuck away in there too (I did & nearly threw them away!).
Don't expect super Hi-Fi quality from them, but they are really good.
They come with a cable which allows for charging from either a USB port on your PC or from a wall USB charger.
For reference the USB cable type is type A to Mini B, should you want to buy a bit more robust charging cable.
All in all I would recommend these small but quite powerful for their size speakers.

I bought the X Mini speaker so I could play my music on my ipod shuffle 4th gen as I keep that upto date the sound quality from this speaker is amazing you can't believe it because of how small and lightweight it is and its so ideal to take on holiday or anywhere to be honest. Might be tempted to buy another one to pair it up.
