Will these Graphics cards run the games with their expansions to the max? With no lag?

# Intel Core 4 Quad Q9400 Processor
# 4096MB Corsair DDR II Memory
# 1000GB SATA II Seagate Ultra Fast Hard Disk Space
# NEC 7200 Multi Format DVD/CD ReWriter
# TWO nVidia GeForce 9500 GT 1024MB PCI Express Graphics Cards (2048MB SLI)
# 5.1 High Definition Surround Sound
# Asus Deluxe Motherboard

Those are the computers specs, hopefully that will help more. As you can see I have two graphics cards and a lot of ram.

The gfx cards are a bit weak even in sli for higher resolutions.. 1280x1024 should be your best bet or maybe 1600x1200 with lower gfx settings..anything higher the cards will suffer.

Sorry I am not good with computers, do you mean that the graphics cards AREN'T good enough to play it? Would it be better to get an nVidia 9800GT instead? This is my first gaming computer, and like I said I am not exactly an expert, my last computer was Windows XP and didn't even come close to this computer, but it played it reasonably well, not well enough though which is why I am getting this upgrade.

They are good enough for Generals but not good enough for Tiberium.... Get what gfx card you afford..... A single 9800gtx is cheap now [£140] it will run much better than 2x9500gt's..pay the £30 extra for a gtx rather than 9800gt and you won't be disappointed.

You never said what resolution you game at..the higher the resolution the more gfx power you need ie 1920x1200 and higher needs a top end card... 1600x1200 and lower needs mid range card

So if I bought a nVidia GeForce 260 GTX 1024MB, that would be fine? I know the price range is a lot higher, but that would work better wouldn't it?

D. Birkhead says:
The 260 GTX would probably run any game on the market maxed out. If you can afford it get it. It's practically the best you can buy and the rest of your system is pretty top notch. It will keep you playing very happily indeed for a long time to come. Make sure you have a good LCD monitor though or it won't look as good as it could.

Happy gaming my friend.
