This really is a great album. Honestly. It will always sound fresh and quirky. It's not KISS but it is an album full of great songs written by a guy who knows how to lay down a groove and while he's a rocker by trade clearly loves all music!

Great tracks, great grooves and a great sense of humour too!

it never ceases to amaze me the negativity towards this disc,if you didnt like it on vinyl - why rebuy it on cd?,this is a far better disc than most of the previous reviewers will admit, the lord of the wasteland is true to himself and produces a variety of styles, beatles pastiche, pop and some rock, the ego obviously overloaded and a multitude of stars appear and dilute the disc somewhat, but heh thats simmons whole mantra!!!,take the blinkers off and appreciate some quality 70's rock from a megastar trust me there are more bloated albums out there than this!!.

Mind-bogglingly weak
If Paul Stanley's album was the best of the four simultaneously released solo efforts from Kiss in 1978, Gene Simmons' was without a doubt the worst - and the oddest. Read more

The Best Cover of the Four Solo Albums...

The God of Thunder chills out...
... and, as it turns out, Gene Simmons is a romantic old so and so! After all, not many Rock Gods could get away with crooning "When You Wish Upon a Star" on their solo album! Read more
