Great book, reccomend.,
By John Harrison "book worm" (North west UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Gender and Diversity in Management: A Concise Introduction (Sage Mini Guides) (Paperback)
I really enjoyed this book, Ms Gatrell and Ms swan both show great knowledge and understanding in the subjects. My wife got the book, for she is interested in feminism and these things, and recommended it to most of her freinds at work, and me. And, when I picked it up, I just didn't put it down. The only regret I have after reading it is wanting to buy some more of Ms.Gatrell's and Ms.Swan's books. When are you to write another.

Diversity: There's an enemy,
By
This review is from: Gender and Diversity in Management: A Concise Introduction (Sage Mini Guides) (Paperback)
In a very well written and documented work, Ms. Gatrell and Ms. Swan attempt to provide a balanced review of the subject of diversity. I got the feeling, though, that the enemy of diversity is the "white, able-bodied, male"; the goal of diversity seems to be to eliminate all diversity and, one day, have an egalitarian organization where there are no dominant groups with the power to define a norm.
