These are non-toxic starch based cake glitters for those who wish to achieve the full, high sparkle glitter effect which cannot be achieved with pure sugar based edible glitters. These non-toxic glitters are not harmful when eaten but are not EU classified as a food product as they are not digested when eaten but pass through the system undigested. New lightweight tube pots that give a lighter overall weight including packaging and a slim design. Gemz pots contain 40% more glitter than existing brands for example both EdAble Art and Rainbow Dust pots contain 5g of glitter from an overall packaged weight of between 14g-17g where as Gemz pots contain 7g glitter from an overall packaged weight of 14g, more glitter - less packaging!

Very pleased with this purchase- great value and extremely glittery! Really does what it says on the tin- have read reviews of other edible glitters which are apparently dull and not as sparkly and non-edible glitter, but this fine, gold glitter is absolutely perfect- I can't wait to sprinkle it on a cake (or toast). Also, I thought the pot would be quite a lot smaller than it actually is- a nice surprise as a little goes a long way and so I hopefully won't need to purchase any more for a while!
