absorbing, thrilling,

The debut novel by new author Mel Foster is a crime mystery and thriller set in a respectable Middle England community. Although I am not a particular fan of this genre, I found this novel absorbing and a great read. The writing has a lot of depth but nevertheless written in an easy-to-read style and the central characters are satisfyingly well developed .I recommend wholeheartedly for fans of books such as The Da Vinci Code and books by Tess Gerristen.

This debut novel by Mel Foster is an intriguing and absorbing read. I was drawn in by the interesting, complex personalities of the characters and found myself staying up late night after night to discover what happened next! Several times during the book I thought I had solved it, only to find that even by the end of the novel I still had not! This easy to read novel would appeal to all, young or old, regular or occasional readers. You could not fail to enjoy it. Well recommended.

THIS NOVEL HAD IT ALL. A RANGE OF GOOD AND "BAD" BELIEVABLE CHARACTERS,STORY LEADS YOU INTO INTERESTING PLACES, WANTING TO KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT, ALSO KEEPS YOU ALERT,WITH A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TENSION. THE LEADING LADY CREATES A FEW SURPRISES.
