Beware! This item seemed perfect until I discovered that it doesn't recognise the backslash key on my keyboard. (I did some further research and it appears that many of these converters don't recognise the backslash key on UK keyboards because it has a different keycode (or somesuch) to other keyboards). If you don't care about your backslashes then I'd recommend it as everything else works fine, and it's a great price.

I bought a microsoft 500 keyboard and discovered my pc didnt have a ps/2 port! Having spent a long time looking for a converter this is the one to buy. Worked first time without restarting the pc. Excellent product and amazing value.

This is every bit as good as an (expensive) one I borrowed and for £1 you can't go wrong. Why pay more?

It doesnt work.
I bought this the 8th of January and it arrived the 27th, im not very happy as it doesnt work in my laptop, computer or Xbox 360.

Disappointed.
The product arrived rather quickly, was packaged well and not damaged, although the product itself didn't work. Just used a standard PS/2 keyboard and it didn't work. Read more

not a converter!
ATTENTION: this is just a simple adapter. it does not actively translate the ps/2 signal and convert it into a USB signal.

Not fit for purpose
the leads are much too short making the product practically unusable. It went into the bin.
