These monoculars look well made and the roll back on the eye piece is good for spectacle wearer`s. Not sure if they are water resistant- not tried them in damp conditions yet.Nice and small and compact and come with a cover which you can attach to your belt.Bought these because Gelert is a half decent name.The thing that lets them down are the optics- the most important aspect. They are difficult to focus. Mine seem to focus best just above the centre of the lens which means that the centre is out of focus and other parts of the lens too. If you focuss on something nearby then you get slight colour abberations. Maybe I am just unlucky to get a suspect pair. I know that they don`t cost the earth but I bought a pair of binoculars at half the price which out perform these easily.
