I bought this last minute as I had to attend a course in rainy Cardiff in October. It did not leak at all and it rained and rained and rained for 3 days solid. You may find condensation but leave zip open an inch or two for air and you will be ok.
If you are taller than 6ft you may find it on the small side.
Overall excellent value for money.

I spent a long time looking around the internet for the best possible combination of space, light weight and value for money available. I eventually settled on the Gelert Rocky 2 as it was cheap enough and relatively light with a lot of sleeping space.

I was not disappointed with the space issue. There is plenty of room for two plus bags and the porch area with ground sheet means extras like shoes etc can be kept off the ground. There is also a good amount of head room so you can sit up without crippling your neck (although I'm not the tallest of people so perhaps that's easier for me anyway).

It isn't the lightest tent ever made but, for the price/space, it seemed reasonable and we didn't have too much trouble carrying it by hand wandering around north wales for a couple of days. It would also easily fit into a good sized pack (say 65l) plus one person's luggage but not two!

Pitching was easy and it was lovely and easy to pack away again too - an important feature as often the bags are so small it's a nightmare getting the thing back in!

Stability is good. It was quite windy when we used it but it seemed pretty solid.

Quite a lot of condensation in the morning. It wasn't terrible but I'm sure there are better tents out there for this.

The only real gripe I have with this tent, and it's a fairly funamental one, is the guy rope arrangement. There are no guys on the sides, only the corners which meant the fly sheet tended to sag a little and touch the sides of the inner tent. This could be a problem if it rained! Of course, skilled pitching can minimise this problem but we are both experienced campers and we still had trouble.

I was in desperate need of a tent for a festival and seeing as a certain catalogue was sold out of everything within my price range, I turned to Amazon and found this. Seeing as there were no reviews, I was a little worried about the purchase. However, I honestly wasted time fretting because this tent is great.

1) It comes in a small, easy to carry bag and it's not too heavy either.
2) It's easy to pitch, though you might need to ask for a little help with the magnetic poles that make it the dome shape (they tended to fling themselves out when I was connecting them to the pin and rings in the corners of the groundsheet).
3) Condensation was minimal but a few small patches did form inside the tent.
4) My tent was waterproof as it survived a heavy downpour, but I found that the "vent" on the outer skin did let a drop or two in (and I mean only a DROP). Everything was completely dry :)
5) When it comes to putting the tent away, I had trouble fitting it back inside the bag and ended up taking it home in a binbag. But then again, perhaps I didn't pack it away correctly since I was getting drenched at the time and wasn't in the mood for it.
6) The tent comes with a handy repair kit for any tears which may occur!
7) Although it is a two man tent, I found it to be quite small. I managed to get all of my luggage in and lay my sleeping bag next to it and that was it. I don't recommend it for a tall person either. I'm 5ft 3 and I only JUST fit inside it. My feet were literally by the "door".
8) The door has a flysheet so you can have the main door open to let in a breeze when it gets too hot.
9) The porch section collected rainwater and sometimes condensation so I don't recommend leaving anything on it. Keep everything inside the tent.

I bought this tent some time ago for use when travelling around the UK on my motorcycle.
It has proved to be a great buy, easy to put up, inner first but it has never posed a problem. Geting the guy ropes equal soon becomes easy, just go opposite corners and its job done. Condensation hasn't been an issue either. As long as the flysheet is pitched right all will be well in the morning.
It is light enough to cart around in a backkpack or just slinging it over your shoulder.
Its worth doing your own waterproofing just to make sure it won't leak, which it never has even in strong winds and down pours.
The sleeping area is big enough for 2 people, 2 full size roll mats and some kit lying in the middle. The porch area offers good space for walking boots and rucksacks.
The inner mesh tent offers good bug protection with a double zip which makes finding the end easier in the dark for those night trips outside.
I would recomend this tent to anyone that wants a good value for money tent.

Ok so I just used this for 3 nights and it bucketed down with rain every night all night and most of the days with quite strong winds.

Pluses;
* More than adequate room for bodies and gear (70L rucsacs)
* Good size porch with attached groundsheet for boots/wellies and cooking in the dry
* Absolutely no leaks in the entire time
* No evidence of condensation
* No buffeting in high winds
* Reasonable weight when attached to a rucsac
* Able to sit up and dress/undress or chill out without feeling claustrophobic

Minuses:
- First tent I have that pitches inner first so took awhile to put up but expect to get faster with this as time goes on
- Couldnt get the tent back into the bag, a slightly larger tent bag with compression straps similiar to Vango's bags would help
- Clips would be better instead of "cloth" ties to link the inner to the outer.
- guide ropes on the sides would be better than the corners.
- It feels 'Delicate' and I am not sure how long it will last but at this price...

We had drysacs with gear inside the tent, so put the half empty rucsac in the porch that gave us a lot more room inside. I think it is an excellent tent for one person who is camping for more than 3 nights with more gear so needing the internal space.
