What a cracking little tent for a perfectly reasonable price.
Used once so far (in January), easy to erect and to take down again.
Ample room for one, to be honest it would be a bit of a squeeze with two, but for solo camping it was excellent.
Planning to use it for wild camping too, then there will be two in there... fortunately we know each other quite well!
Recommended!

Amazon Verified Purchase
Delivery of this product was fine and on time. Well packaged and in good condition. Exactly as you would expect.
However when i get it out to have a go at putting it up.....well swearing ensued, the air was literally blue.
There should be 4 brass eyelets for the ends of the flexi poles to home into. ooops only three. There should be 4 male to female buckles to attach outer cover to internal tent....wow there are 5 of those. And to make matters even better i am expecting to have 4 day-glo yellow guy lines and pullers....yep missing. I have been in the scouts, venture scouts, DoE, a gamekeeper and in the Army so am fimilar about how these things go together, still i was doubting myself for a couple of minutes there. Could i be that stupid.......This is a prime example of dont assume. I am due to be at the back end of the cairngorms in 5 days.........
I feel a manufacturing fault was to blame here. This is by no means a reflection on the excellent service from Amazon but sadly lacking in the QC process by Gelert. Amazon have an instant gift certificate sytem for returns which means i could immediately order another tent "not Gelert" and have it shipped out PDQ, before the other tent is even back in the box. I have opted for a Coleman Cobra 2. A bit more expensive but expecting a lot more from a more recognised company....fingers crossed.

recently took this to north wales for 2 nights in 2 seperate spots. one night on a site, one wild.
quick to pitch and put away, although im glad i had a practice run at home.
once inside faily roomy for 1, wouldnt like to have to fit 2 in. at 5"8 i could sit up fine and stretch out when lying down. i kept my bag in the small awning part and kept a decent amount of gear inside the tent with me without losing too much space.
i did test a couple out in a shop before buying which i recommend doing. i was looking at this, a robens and a coleman (all 2 man backpackers). the robens looked like the first choice, until i got inside and couldnt sit up in it. too cramp inside. so that was a no-no. there was very little between the coleman and this, besides around 30 pounds. (i think the coleman was more waterproof, but didnt realise till after buying).
for the price i am more than happy with it.
some condensation inside the next morning, but that was on the outerlayer, the inner layer keeps you protected from it. it dealt with mild rain through the night fine. looking forward to testing it more.
one thing, the second night i used a single blow up matress. it fit in the tent fine, however it went from being roomy, to being cramped.
in summary. a quick to put up/down, roomy 1 man tent with a roll mat. a tight fitting 1 man tent with a airbed.
