Superfluous as it may seem to write a review of an airbed pump; I thought I would pass on my experience:
I have recently bought a couple of airbed mattresses of the new type that have built-in inflators and rather large airholes for pumps. The built-in inflators are next to useless and take an inordinate amount of time to pump up the mattresses including a herculean effort. As a result I had to resort to using a pump to inflate them, at which point I found out that these mattresses are not compatible with any of the old-school pumps I had around the house.
Much to my annoyance I had to buy a new pump (this one) but blessedly it just works, it is very fast, not excessively loud and it deflates as well as inflates so I can be completely lazy. I've only knocked off a star because it can be very difficult to detach the adapter nozzles once they've been put on.
A good solid pump that sucks as well as it blows and ultimately that's all I needed it to do.
