PNY GeForce 6200 - Great bit of kit. 15 Oct 2009

I'm really pleased with this Video card, and it's certainly quicker than the old Quadro 4 that it replaced. It's very well priced and works great with Ubuntu Linux using the Nvidia drivers.

I bought this particular card because it's passive cooled, so has no fan. In my experience it's always the fan that dies first which then kills the card when it over heats. I have had two different Video cards that died that way. It also means that the Video card is silent so no extra noise which is always a bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent AGP Card 2 Oct 2009

I had been looking for a replacement for a 9800 Pro which finally gave up on me recently after many years good service. I tried a x1650 pro but couldn't get it to work with my A7N8X mobo and I had been making do with an old MX200! This 6200 worked straight out of the box with no fuss. It has given my PC a new lease of life and I would recommend it to anyone looking to replace an AGP slot card. My PC is used mainly for internet access and processing digital photography and video.

I was very impressed by NVIDIA GeForce 6200 performance and features.
It was the only GPU that I could find within my budget - in its class - with support for Microsoft DirectX 9.0 Shader Model 3.0.
It's power enables the characters to seem realistic, with the environments, and special effects not compromising the performance.
I am no tech expert or very tech-savvy but I achieved what I set out to and that was to get an far improved PC experience.

Good after a slowish start

not very good for games

Its saids on the boxs its good for games but it dont run world of warcraft so its not good for games please do not buy it if want it for warcraft as it cant cope with it
