This 20th Century classic home land-phone design (or "clobber-phone") is bang on target in terms of aesthetics and comfort. The classic bell-ringer can be set to loud or quiet. The dialling mechanism is tone-dialling, therefore compatible with automated answering services where additional button presses are required. Star and Hash keys included. The familiar square push-button layout on this model is MADE for tone-dialling, allowing for quick "eyes closed" dialling. There are even discreet redial and recall buttons near to the receiver cradle. The only thing missing in this phone is the sheer weight of the original phone, useful for knocking-out burglars whilst making a 999 call. This faithful reproduction is still tough and well-built. Pity about the limited colour availability, although the white buttons stand out well against the black background.
