My 12 year old son really wants this game and says all his friends have it. im worried because it is rated 18. Why is this?

W. H. Hall says:
It has monsters in, lots of blood and guts such as chainsawing people in half. However you can turn off the strong language and the gore in the options menu. Really you should get it for him, if you don't he's probably just going to go round his mates and play it

I don't know, would you show him 18-rated films? It's not for him because he's too young. I'd suggest shrugging off the peer pressue crap.

i'm 13 and i dont think this game's to bad. it contains lots of blood and gore, but really he's just going to end up p;aying it round a mates. it's better to at least rent it to see how bad it is. that way at least you can see it in action
