With the CRG-60, wake up to your iPod, the radio or a simple buzzer. Its twin drivers provide high quality audio so you can enjoy your music in great stereo sound and then, with an LCD screen that can be dimmed or even turned off entirely, enjoy your sleep too. When powered by mains, the CRG-60 will charge up your iPod as it plays (or you sleep). However, it can also be powered by batteries, which combines with its compact design to make it truly portable and perfect for any bedside table, home or away.

I bought this product as I saw that a friend of mine had one and it was brilliant for her too.
The iPod docking is just what I needed and wanted as it is very easy to use and also charges my iPod quickly and effectively. The sound quality is beautiful for a range of styles including rock and classical, also the range of volume available is good for filling a small bedroom or even you entire living room.
The radio is easy to use and allows you to scan through to find your favorite stations and the quality is great.
It also allows 2 alarms which I found particularly useful when I wanted to get up later on the weekends. Also i could choose between the radio, my iPod or a buzzer to wake me up which is a nice feature to include.
It has been extremely reliable and was very useful when I took it away on holiday as it is very compact and durable.
I am more than satisfied with this purchase. :)

It's not the light that gave me the problems, as you can easily turn it off, it's the fact that it cuts out all the time, for no apparent reason! I bought it yesterday and so far it's been able to go about 5 minutes without cutting out while playing my Ipod. The alarm failed to go off this morning despite me following the instructions in the booklet to the letter - for something with so few buttons it's very complicated. And to top it all off, there are no troubleshooting posts anywhere on Gear4's site, so I have no idea how to fix it! Bad, bad move.

I found several problems with this product.
1. The alarm volume is very loud, and seems to be independent of the volume you set for the radio.
2. To select radio channels, you can only scan in ascending order with the ability to reset back to the beginning. Why not just have a seek down button instead of a reset button?
3. When the alarm goes off, touching any button other than snooze disables the alarm entirely. The same goes if you are using the "Nap" function (and I would imagine the Sleep timer as well, though I didn't use the Sleep timer).
4. Most annoyingly, instead of having illuminated numbers on a black screen, they've decided to have the background light up instead. You can choose to have the background in one of three dimmer settings, which I would describe as Invisible at Night, Lighthouse in the Room, and Broad Daylight 24 Hours a Day.
I am returning this item and will continue my search for a decent alarm clock.

Doesn't fit
Bought as a present for my gadget-loving wife and both very disappointed as new ipods don't fit. Therefore, its whole purpose is redundant. Too bright too and radio intermittent. Read more

iPod Dock & Radio Alarm Clock
Does what it says on the tin. Works well and good value. One really useful item which is missing is an Earphone Socket which would be good for personal listening. Read more

Do Not Buy
Constantly cuts out when listening to the radio. The clock does not keep time and in running fast hours after being set so constantly needs to be reset.

CRG60 alarm clock
Good value for money - only downside is that the display was still quite bright at its lowest setting (although the display can be turned off but that defeats the object.)

Utter rubbish!!!
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT: Waste of money. Utterly hopeless. Will only sometimes play an iPod, bad connections. Radio dire. Read more
