I have used it with an iPhone, iPod, Sony and Samsung and they all work well...
So I really recommend this. Its easy to use straight out of the box, just plug into the mains and put the lead into your player, turn on and off you go.
So:
PROS
1. Great packaging, looks like a bird in a crate. Cool for a gift.
2. The speaker is quite iconic looking. A large Red Angry Bird. (Just like in the game)
3. Good sound quality.
4. Good bass.
5. The lead will fit any headphone socket. So standard 3.5mm jack.
6. Good size for a shelf.Its quite big and looks like it will last.
7. Has a stand for your player.
8. Comes with different plug fittings to be used in different parts of the world.
CONS
1. Only for mains use.
2. There isn't a remote control. The Amazon description states that there is BUT there isn't. (The others in the range do though)
3. Mainly for teenagers or for a second speaker set.(Although, thats not much of a problem.)
Overall, I love it.....I am pleasantly surprised at how good this item is.....it's not just been made to get you to buy something from the latest craze. A well thought out and well built item.

So, the music is going to be rubbish right? The sound quality will be rubbish, no bass and it is all a gimmick? That is what I thought when I first opened (the lovely designed and amusing) packaging to reveal the slightly smaller than a football sized bird. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how well the speakers performed. They are better than my ipod docking station/speakers that I bought a few months ago that were in the same price range as this product. I really like the bass and was impressed at the overall sound quality when playing a range of music from classical to rock, it was even quite amusing to hear Metallica playing from a bright red Angry Bird! At this price range no speaker set will be amazing (especially when shaped as a bird), the speakers are close together and so you do not get the surround sound effect of a professionally set up (and expensive) sound system - however that is not what this product is. It doesn't even pretend to be that. It is a lovely designed, fun product which actually performs a lot better than many would think.
It is quite sturdy and I was impressed at how well built it is. Sometimes with spin off products from successful brands it seems like a cash in and product quality is an afterthought however I would say that this has been very well designed and has been built to a very high standard. It is surprisingly heavy! If it fell from a shelf or something it could do some damage so be careful where you put it - especially if there are young, inquisitive children around who might try to play with the funny looking bird!

But the cables - oh - the mains cable barely reaches the ground serverely limiting where you can place the item and and fixed cable between the dock and speaker is also way too short - the flimsey dock part is not particialurly nice to look at so you want to hide it away somewhat from the speaker but you can't plus short cable will not lie flat so again thwarted.
I will still give it 4 stars though as the speaker itself is great and let face it we all love AB but it could have been perfect with just a bit more thought and mininal cost but perhaps it's just me who is a visible cable loather?
Oh yes one more thing it does come in a brilliant gift box.
