Product Description

Factory overclocked to Performs at an incredible 925MHz, 115MHz faster than stock performance, resulting in higher frame rates in games. PC performance seekers know overvolting gets the extreme results they crave. This is why ASUS’ exclusive Voltage Tweak is so cool – it goes deep into graphics cards to supply them with more energy, so they deliver more speed and graphics-pushing. You will enjoy complete control over tweaking through the intuitive user interface – making it easy to get to 50%* gain in performance.

ASUS SmartDoctor is a group of special tools to help users make the most of their ASUS graphics cards. It monitors the Fan RPM, AGP Power Level, GPU and RAM temperature, and has a slide bar for easy manual overclocking. Furthermore, the embedded HyperDrive and SmartCooling technology can dynamically overclock and change the fan speed for better performance and convenience. With its comprehensive hardware monitoring functions it provides you with the best graphics card investment protection and best performance when overclocking.

The original SmartDoctor allows you to manually adjust both core and memory clocks to boost your graphics card performance. Now ASUS features the new HyperDrive technology that allows you to easily and dynamically change the speed of the GPU and memory to gain more power from your graphics card.

SmartCooling is an ASUSexclusive technology that effectively reduces the fan noise under normal use, and dissipates the heat when the GPU loading is high. SmartCooling only works on specially designed ASUS graphics cards with monitor chip that can detect and adjust the board temperature and fan speed. When activated, SmartCooling allows you to set five(5) GPU temperature thresholds and the fan speed dynamically changes according to this temperature threshold. When the the GPU temperature is below the lowest threshold, SmartCooling automatically reduces the fan speed to the lowest fan speed level to reduce noise and save energy. Moreover, when the GPU temperature passes over the threshold, SmartCooling automatically increases the fan speed for better heat dissipation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb Card 5 Nov 2011

I bought the 560ti as a result of the benchmark results in reviews on the internet.( Plus my budget was rather limited.). My Nvidia 8800s was starting to struggle with the latest games and of course couldn't run DX11. There are a few ready made factory overclocked versions of the 560ti, but I chose the Asus because of both it's price and the fact that it has two fans rather than just a single as on the stock model. It's performance ? Outstanding !!. I cannot fault this card at all. On the odd occasion where both fans kick in on particularly graphic-intensive games, the overall noise is only noticeable if you listen to it. By that I mean it doesn't distract you from your gaming in any way. On idle my maximum temperature is 29 degrees and the hottest its ever got is 72 degrees. Once you stop your game or program it cools down really quickly. This is without doubt one of the best purchases I have ever made.

5.0 out of 5 stars GTX 560Ti DirectCu overclocked 28 Nov 2011
Very nice piece of kit, beautifully designed & made by Asus with high quality materials. Also has great twin-fan cooling.
Asus have been very thoughtful about the whole product - including its packaging, making it feel like something of real quality; also it comes with all the power connectors you'll need (2x 6-pin to molex..)

In use it runs extremely quietly, even under load the twin fans are quiet in comparison to the many previous cards I've owned. This 900MHz overclocked version is in my opinion terrific value for money, running current high-demand games & simulations (in my case: rFactor, Codies Dirt & F1 titles & Microsoft FSX) with ease.

Generally speaking I've been really happy with this card in the five weeks I've owned it. It replaced a GTX285 that made our office impossible during the summer because it was so hot. The 560Ti is the opposite - it has dramatically cooled our office so now we need the radiator on during the spring.

The reason for my review though is for the last week my PC has been making a horrible noise that I figured was probably a fan. Because I'd just replaced my CPU cooling fan at the same time it was mistifying me.

Anyway, it turned out that it is the fan next on this graphics card next to the DVI sockets. There is a litte bundle of wires that have been secured rather inelegantly with a black cable tie. This wasn't trimmed short enough and had rotated around so the plastic end fouled the fan blades. Fixing it was simple, but it seems mad to me that this would be the way they shipped the device without trimming the plastic so it would never foul the fan.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a cracking card !!!! 24 Mar 2012

I purchased this card to give my machine a boost and to enable me to run Skyrim, with all the whistles and bells. It certainly hasn't disappointed . I run Skyrim at Ultra setting with no stuttering or freezing. The graphics look fantastic and the card handles anything you can throw at it with ease. The product came beautifully boxed and was really easy to fit into my machine. The software included enables you to overclock the card even further if you want to, but I see no reason you'd want to do this.

It's a power thirsty so make sure that you're PSU can handle it before you buy, I'm running it off a 750W PSU and have no problems. The card runs really quietly, you won't even know it's there even when under heavy use.

All in all this is a fantastic card and one that I would highly recommend.

Now all I need to do is get another so that I can SLI them.

5.0 out of 5 stars GTX560 Ti hits the mark. 31 Aug 2012

I bought this graphics adapter to replace a GeForce 8800 GTX adapter whose memory had failed. The 8800 was part of my Dell XPS 720 (Vista) system I purchased in 2007. The process of replacing the adapter was simple and painless, and after the supplied drivers were installed and updates completed, my system was returned to working order.
I can't comment on performance because I was just looking for a replacement that allowed the system to work and run some games that I have.
