Product Description

Double the reference video memory at 4GB takes your gaming to new levels of smooth. Flattened copper heatpipes makes direct contact with the GPU surface, so heat is dissipated efficiently, delivering a 20% cooler and vastly quieter performance than reference. Acclaimed DIGI+ VRM with 8-phase Super Alloy Power technology delivers precise digital power and enhanced durability for stable overclocking.

DirectCU thermal design utilizes direct contact copper heatpipes so heat is dissipated efficiently, delivering a 20% cooler and vastly quieter performance than reference.

Acclaimed DIGI+ VRM has been applied via a massive power design that uses digital voltage regulators to minimize power noise by 30% and enhance power efficiency by 15%, widen the voltage modulation range, and improve overall stability and longevity by 2.5 times longer than reference.

Push the breathtaking performance of the GeForce GTX graphics cards to new levels with NVIDIA GPU Boost. This technology dynamically maximizes clock speeds to bring out the best performance in every game.

Get more than just faster frame rates. Get ultra-smooth gaming every time with NVIDIA gaming innovations - Adaptive Vertical Sync. This technology dynamically adjusts Vsync to current frame rates for maximum playability.

Play games with advanced effects such as blazing explosions and lifelike characters with 10X faster switching between graphics and physics processing, enabling more complex effects to be rendered in real time.

Transform hundreds of PC games into stereoscopic 3D and enjoy immersive full HD 3D gaming across three displays at an incredible 5760x1080 resolution.

DirectX 11 GPU-accelerated tessellation allows more detailed geometry to be packed into a scene, allowing characters to be rendered with cinema-quality detail.

a bangin card (bought from somewhere else brand new for 227.99 inc. next day delivery).

it has a backplate. the gpu core clock has exceeded 1100mhz (according to gpu-z). idle temps in my c.m. haf 922: 31/32c - max temp: 67c (bf3, auto video settings). its quiet. requires 2 x 6 pin power connectors.

w.e.i. score 7.9/7.9 (windows 7 hp x64). asic quality 85.2%.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very good video card 6 Mar 2014

The performance of this video card is very good, but what I absolutely love at it is the lack of noise. It is installed on a PC with a PSU which stops it's fan and the CPU cooler is a Noctua monster with 2 fans that operate @ 300 rpm. My PC is now quieter than my laptop, but a lot more performant. :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Best bang for buck. 3 Sep 2013

Picked this up for 235 notes from Amazon. What a bargain! This is still a very capable card even when pitched against more recent GTX 770 (which is a rebranded over clocked GTX 680 BTW) series GPUs which can be up to twice the price.

This card runs cool and quiet and with the 4GB frame buffer can easily run almost everything at full resolution with no slow down. Because of the decent cooling on this card, it's a great little over clocker too - I managed to squeeze an extra 6% FPS over stock speeds when running Bioshock Infinite at 1920x1200 with everything maxed out.

I have 2 other 670's(2GB versions) in another machine set as SLI. Benchmarks show performance better than a GTX Titan but at a fraction of the price! Never had any compatibility problems with SLI.

Sure, a GTX 770 has some nice features such as GPU boost 2.0 but at a cost saving of nearly 200 pounds, I can live without it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Card 15 Jan 2013
Verified Purchase
Great Card, I bought it to run BF 3 without any problems, and it does that. If I crank the graphics down, it runs BF3 in 3D at a steady rate. It is overpriced for that extra 2Gig, but runs incredibly queitly (I've not heard it above the sound of my case fans, which are reasonably queit under load).
