Gary Smethurst was born in 1978, and currently resides, in the North-West of England, UK. He lives with his wife and son. By day he is an information analyst for a large insurance company. On evenings and weekends he is a video game enthusiast, keen-blogger and a burgeoning novelist. His first completed novel, 'Control', was released on Amazon Kindle self-publishing in January 2011. He is currently working on other novels for future publication.
