So the godfather of electronic music finally has a DVD release to call his own.
The DVD is a live recording of the gig at London Odeon in late 1984 when Gary was into white and blue! The DVD contains some fantastic songs that capture the atmosphere of a Numan gig but have some holes.
The Drums on 'My Dying Machine" are very powerful and "remind me to smile" shows to all why he has had so many hit singles and albums. During this tour Numan had a couple of set-lists and this DVD has his biggest hits missing from it (Are Friends Electric and Cars).
The quality of the DVD is good and stands the test of time very well (considering it was from 1984) however no bonus material (except for the audio review which adds nothing) means that you get 57 mins of pure Numan songs.
I want more please.
