Size Name: 5-inch | Style Name: Lifetime UK and Ireland Maps
With its bright 5-inch display and spoken turn-by-turn directions, nüvi 52LM is an easy-to-use, dedicated sat nav that helps you get to your destination easily.
It comes with Lifetime Map updates for free, speed camera alerts, Lane Assist and Junction View for simple and safe navigation so you don’t get lost.
nüvi 52LM arrives loaded with detailed maps of the UK and Ireland and thousands of Points of Interest (POIs) such as restaurants, businesses and shops.
However, roads change, businesses open and close and new traffic lights or roundabouts appear. With nüvi 52LM you can keep your sat nav up-to-date with the latest maps¹ that Garmin has to offer, with no fees. Map updates also contain fresher points of interest so your nüvi can give results that are more relevant and have greater accuracy.
Please note, with increased road detail and more points of interest, new maps could be larger in size; as a result, map updates may require a microSD card (sold separately).
Avoid confusion at tricky exits and junctions. Lane Assist guides you into the correct lane for approaching turns and exits, and Junction View displays an onscreen image of the upcoming junction so you know what to expect before you reach the junction. The split screen mode shows your position on the map alongside a realistic depiction of your upcoming manoeuvre.
nüvi 52LM displays speed limit, current speed and accurate time of arrival. With a quick glance, you can read the name of your current street.
nüvi 52LM contains Garmin’s Cyclops Safety Camera system, for real-time, direction-relevant and accurate alerts. The full safety camera database is already pre-loaded on your sat nav. However, you can get regular or one-off updates to ensure you’ve always got the latest camera locations, so you can drive safety and legally.
The Where am I? Emergency locator is a safety feature that can be very helpful if you break down or need a local service urgently. Simply tap the car icon on the map screen to get your exact coordinates, address and junction, contact details for vehicle recovery services and directions to your nearest hospitals, police and petrol stations. This can also be used to save your current location so you can find your way back there again easily in the future.
Use Gamin Express online to keep your nüvi up-to-date. Garmin Express makes it easy to update maps and software, transfer favourites to and from devices, and install free custom vehicles and voices.
