Garmin Univeral Carry Case??? 23 May 2012

I bought this for my new Garmin nuvi 3490. I was shocked when this arrived and was bulky but short. I thought that will never fit my satnav. But the elastic band stretches to allow bigger satnavs in. It says its for both 3 and 4 inch satnavs but its quite a stretch for 4 inch. I am not sure how long the elastic will survive under this kind of pressure. I also think it makes a really nice slim satnav very bulky. I wouldn't buy it again.
