Garmin TransAlpine, the first border crossing topographic map for the eastern Alps, aims to address the needs for all recreational activities in the Alps and particularly to trans-alpine crossing trips. Coverage includes parts of Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Slovenia and is routable on the entire road network as well as on paths and trails. The map is loaded with special alpine content such as 9,000 km of premium mountain bike trails and the European long distance hiking trail called “E5”, going from Konstanz, Germany to Verona, Italy. This map product also offers a vast number of alpine POIs such as 21,000 mountain peaks, 2,400 passes and crossings, 2,000 refuges and more, but also includes more generic tourist POIs such as hotels and tourist information offices. With all of this outdoor content on your Garmin device, you will always find the right places and the right tracks for your alpine adventure.
