The Oregon 600 is preloaded with TOPO UK and Ireland Light map. This map provides turn-by-turn navigation on trail and path networks with Garmin optimised routing which calculates routes tailored to the activity. You can also load maps from Garmin's huge selection of high quality European Topographical Maps or choose one of Garmin's Birdseye Select 1:25k raster maps and hit the trail. Plug in BlueChart g2 preloaded cards for a great day on the water or load City Navigator map data for turn-by-turn routing on roads. Add satellite images to your maps with Birdseye Satellite Imagery (subscription required).
The all-new, responsive yet durable touchscreen and faster processor allow a new level of intuitive map usage. Maps can easily be zoomed, panned and rotated using multi-touch. This rugged and waterproof device (IPX-7) also features a customisable action button, a dual battery system and a microSD card slot for optional mapping and data storage for extended activities.
The Oregon 600 includes GPS/GLONASS satellite tracking for accurate navigation and positioning. Through the Bluetooth capability of the Oregon 600, you can wirelessly transfer large files like photos, Adventures and Custom Maps between Oregon 600-series units. With a Bluetooth enabled smartphone you can also share activity data including waypoints, routes, tracks and geocaches with friends and family and check for great Garmin Adventures nearby from wherever you are. Oregon is also ANT+ wireless enabled, making the experience even more complete via heart rate, cadence, chirp and tempe sensors.
