Needing a mains charger for my Garmin Nuvi 255WT, I originally bought one of the cheap alternatives. Big mistake!! It was a total waste of money because it didn't work!

This genuine Garmin charger, although more expensive is well worth it because it does actually work!

Thoroughly recommended.

As they say, this does what it says on the tin. But I rarely use it. Why? I have a cigarette lighter charger so whenever I'm in the car my sat nav is being constantly charged. If you don't have a cigarette lighter cable then I guess this will be really useful.

On nice feature is it comes with several countries pins that simply click into the mains plug so you can use it in the sockets of other countries. No other adapters or voltage converters needed. I would have given this 5 stars if I hadn't got the cigarette lighter cable but as it stands I rarely need it.
