Style Name: Lifetime Western Europe Map
The Garmin nüvi 50LM is ideal for anyone who wants an easy-to-use, reliable sat nav. It is navigation at its simplest. It has a 5” touchscreen display for easy viewing, detailed maps of the UK, Ireland and Western Europe (24 countries), plus Lane Assist and Junction View to help you stay on the right track. Above all, it has a user-friendly menu to make driving as stress-free as possible so you can concentrate on getting to your destination.
nüvi 50LM arrives loaded with detailed maps of the UK, Ireland and Western Europe. With free lifetime map updates, your routes are sure to reflect the most up-to-date maps, POIs (points of interest) and navigation information. New maps are available for download up to 4 times per year, for the life of your device, with no fees.
Western Europe map coverage includes: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, San Marino, Malta, Monaco, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Vatican City.
It is easy to find addresses and POIs such as businesses, stores, restaurants and other destinations. Simply search for what you’re looking for and press ‘Go’ to be directed there with turn-by-turn instructions and spoken street names for extra clarity. The super-wide 5" screen enables you to see more detail on the maps and more of the road ahead.
nüvi 50LM contains Garmin’s Cyclops Speed Camera system, for real-time, direction-relevant and accurate alerts. The full safety camera database is already pre-loaded on your sat nav. However, you can get regular or one-off updates to ensure you’ve always got the latest camera locations, so you can drive safety and legally.
Avoid confusion at tricky exits and junctions. Lane Assist guides you into the correct lane for approaching turns and exits, and Junction View displays an onscreen image of the upcoming junction so you know what to expect in plenty of time.
nüvi 50LM displays speed limit, current speed and accurate time of arrival. It’s all the information you need as you travel. With a quick glance, you can also read the name of your current street to make sure you’re on the right track.
Use Express online to keep your nüvi up-to-date. Garmin Express makes it easy to update maps and software, transfer favourites to and from devices, and install free custom vehicles and voices.
The Where am I? emergency locator is a safety feature that can be very helpful if you break down or need a local service urgently. Simply tap the car icon on the map screen to get your exact coordinates, address and junction, contact details for vehicle recovery services and directions to your nearest hospitals, police and petrol stations. This can also be used to save your current location so you can find your way back there again easily in the future.
