This looks exactly like it does in the photograph and, unlike several reviewers, I think it does the job. However, if you have a period garden or the item is going to be close to the eye every single day, you might want to go for something a bit more "rustic". For the price, one can't really complain. The item gets a 3 star rating from me. It's average quality but it's cheap so actually good value.

It's made of blacked-painted, light-weight, metal tubes that are sturdy enough but assembly was not totally simple. The hoops and conical top are plastic and a little cheap looking. In theory, it fits together quite easily, except with mine the plastic water proof seal that helps join two sections of the frame legs was quite a fiddle to get on (it was very tight fitting and if you are not manually dextrous I imagine it was be pretty tough going). The conical top screws on and is a bit loose, and it takes a bit of fiddle to get the vertical poles aligned and parallel.

So assembly probably took 20 minutes, with a bit of faff. An extra tube is provided to bore holes into the ground to get a good anchor and this is very useful. I used one of the hoops and pieces of bamboo to mark the spots for holes and to keep them free until the hole frame (which is very light) could be stood in them. The whole thing is well anchored but if you have only shallow soil, this could be a problem.

As a proud cottage garden owner, this stands about 30 feet away from my window against the fence and looks fine. I have some climbers on there already and it looks just like the photograph. If I decide this is to be a permanent feature, I will go upmarket next time. However, noone has commented on the cheap plastic todate, so I may be being over-fussy.

Very solid, much cheaper than others I've seen. We've got three and they've been in the garden now for two months. Roses growing happily up them. Will buy more

cheap and tacky looking. My fault for trying to save £10, but this is nasty - a three legged flimsy thing with hideous plastic cone on top. Would advise paying a bit more and getting something much nicer!

This was better than expected, really strong and smooth lines, and easy to put together.
I would recommend this oberlisk to anyone wanting an oberlisk for roses, clematis or jasmine
(that is what I wanted it for).

Found this a bit flimsey and cheap looking, but then at the price I couldn't really expect something much more substantial!

So easy to assemble, I managed it alone. It also looks good and is sturdy enough with the legs in the soil of a large planter. The honeysuckle inside is climbing well and friends all comment favourably.
