These were recommended to me by a neighbour and I have to say they are excellent. I have been doing lots of gardening (sometimes in foul weather)and much of it has involved heavy lifting, digging and slab moving, as well as planting and potting. They are largely waterproof without being horribly sweaty. There are no seams which hurt when you've been digging or using a trowel a lot as there are with my leather gloves. They fit so well that I can deal with the tiniest seedlings, where normally I would be ripping gloves off (or ripping seedlings to shreds). These gloves are not as good as heavy leather gloves for spiky things like roses or blackthorn, but are pretty spike-proof with a little care. They have lasted as long as most of my gloves (and better than many) and I would highly recommend them, so much so, that I have bought some for my mother in law and as a thank you to my neighbour!
