This gift pack subscription online process is bad.
Unfortunately, the magazine website changed during the last year and i couldn't use my international credit card anymore, so i bought the gift pack through amazon, i got the package with the code inside but the website to activate on the card was useless and had nothing to do with gift pack activation. I contacted BBC mags by email for help but their reply was very slow and after one week of back and forth emails they gave me a second website where i can enter my activation code. the new website only redirected me to the first one where it was asking me again for my credit card and apparently charging me again for the subscription (my credit card doesnt work there anyway as the billing address is not a UK address).
BBC mags response was for me to use regular mail instead. I'm gonna have to pay postage and going to miss an issue. really frsutrating experience.
Do not buy this unless you are in the UK and have access to regular mail.

what happens when you buy the subscription is that you get a small box with a card in it. You can either post the card off (with the details of where the magazine subscription should be sent) or you can go online (subscribeonline.co.uk) and use the code number on the card to activate the subscription.
If you take the online route, you will receive an email confirming the details of the account and the cost of the subscription (£23.79 for Gardeners World).
Six weeks after you activate the subscription, with luck, it will start the arrive.
