I already knew the book having borrowed it from the RHS library at Wisley. There are a number of books that cover gardening techniques but this seemed the most useful. A lot of the other titles were dense with photos and low on text - the Gardeners' Qustion Time book seemed to have got the right balance of information and essential photos. It is full of useful information especially for the novice gardener.

This is by far the book I have bought as a new gardener. All the tips in it are easy to follow and save wasting time finding out your own mistakes. Love it!
