An excellent value reference for those familiar with plants and their Latin names. (£2.00 at 28/09/12) The plants are organised into useful categories, such as 'annuals and biennials,' 'shrubs,' etc, and tables include useful details about flowering period and best conditions. Those less familiar with plants/names would still find it a useful guide to cross reference with an online database or plant A-Z book but should be prepared to spend time looking up the plants elsewhere as there are no photos or illustrations included and plants are listed on their own merit rather than as part of planting plans.

All in all, it does what it says on the tin for a very good price.

Very informative, especially advice for plants for each season.
Dissapointed that there were no pictures showing the colour of the plants and flowers.
