This lawn rake and scarifier tackles two jobs with just one tool, allowing you to keep your lawn in peak condition all year round!
This powerful yet lightweight 1300w device means an end to the traditional heavy and laborious work of raking and scarifying your lawn, providing an electric alternative that will save you time and get perfect results. Complete with a two-point start switch for safety, simply select the interchangeable head you require (scarifying or rake), plug in and go!
The scarifying attachment includes eighteen blades that will make short work of aerating your lawn. The rake will remove moss and grass, encouraging healthy grass growth and deposit the debris into its large 35-litre collection bag. Depending on your grass height and condition, you can also select up to five different working heights to meet your individual requirements. Switching between blades is easy too and can be done in just minutes.
Smaller than a standard electric lawnmower the lawn rake and scarifier includes handles that fold down when not in use to allow easy storage and comes complete with a 10-metre power cable and one-year manufacturers guarantee.

I have been looking for a lawn raker & scarifier for quite some time I saw one similar to this in B & Q also at Coopers much more expensive but looks identical apart from colour Rake and Scarifier . I read reveiws decided this was the one for me because of the powerful motor & the two interchangable cylinders that take the hard work out of scarifieing & raking the lawn. I used the raker cassette which produced two large bags of thatch moss etc. When I used the scarifier cassette there was more than double that! (tip check the collection bag regularly) Although there were some bald patches following this, now my lawn is moss free and there is fresh lush green grass now comming through.
I can't wait to see what my lawn looks like next spring.

This was one of the cheapest scarifiers/lawnrakes I could find, so was initially a bit dubious, but good reviews here reassured me and I ordered it. It arrived promptly and requires minimal assembly. The item comes with interchangeable scarifiying (solid blade) and rake (spring tine) blade drums. I used the scarifying blade on my lawns and completely filled a green wheelie bin with moss and thatch from under 25 square metres of lawn. The lawn did look somewhat thin in places after treatment, but now 3 weeks later, has regrown very nicely. The scarifier cuts grooves in the soil, which has aided re-seeding in a couple of bare patches.
I found this very easy to use. As stated in some other reviews, yes it does need emptying very frequently, but purely because of the sheer volume of debris it removes from the lawn. The collection net basket does have a fairly thin wire frame as mentioned in one of the poorer reviews, but it was amply up to the job IMO and I did not find it at all fiddly to fit. The only thing I haven't tried yet is changing the blade drum, but this looks like it is very quick and easy and the spare drum comes with what look like very good quality bearings, and is well made, so I am expecting many years use from it. Overall, very pleased indeed with it - far superior to an old black and decker lawnrake i had borrowed before.

this rake/scarifier does a very good job, but the scarifier ,if used on hard ground, can tear the soil up, so need to watch that.
