The hexagonal shape of this impressive sandpit adds to the attractiveness, whilst also making it easier to sit around. The sandpit is 1.5m across and comes with a protective cover to prevent any unwanted debris from making its way into the sandpit, and a geotextile underlay to prevent grass and weeds from entering the sandpit whilst still allowing rain water to drain through.
Our hexagonal wooden sandpit is very easy to assemble and comes with full easy to follow instructions. This sandpit can be placed on both a hard surface or on grass and the high sides of the sandpit are designed to prevent the sand from leaving the sandpit. While providing a ledge on which your children can sit out of the sand while building their dream sandcastle.
The hexagonal sandpit has the capacity to take a total of approximately 7 x 75 litre bags of play sand, allowing your child or children to dig deep until their hearts are content.

my kids love this sand pit it is a good buy but does require quite a bit of sand even to half full it.

I was shocked to read that the sandbox had received bad reviews, I really can't understand why.
I purchased this some time ago. I found it easy to build and once up has proved really very popular.
There is a good depth to the sides meaning a good fill on the level of sand (I used about 7 bags of play sand) for the kids to play in while keeping the sand within the sandbox and not all over the garden.
I would highly recommend this unit. The children love this.

This sandpit has been a great hit with my son. It is a very good size and is really sturdy.
It took about 10 bags of sand to fill it just over half way (you don't need anymore than that)
The plastic cover fits well but you will need to put something under it like a pole so it makes a tent shape so rain does not pool on top.

sand pit
overall a good sturdy sand pit,however the ground sheet is too small.It does require about 250kg of sand to half fill it which unless you look around can cost a lot of money.
