This is a lovely book if you wish to gain a little knowledge about a lot of gardens around the world. It feels quite clinical inside with a standard layout a set amount of text on each venue with a single image on each. Although this enables you to view a lot gardens, you never get intimate with any of them. I feel the book would have been more enjoyable if they had gone for quality over quantity and enabled you to see different aspects of each garden opposed to the single shot.
