Synopsis

Follows the fortunes of the Spice Boys - Mr. Hot, Mac and Mr. Cool, Sam who work as fashion photographers for a gossip magazine aptly titled Garam Masala. Mac finds himself in an empty flat with three available air hostesses, each convinced that they are 'the only one' for Mac and all the time Mac is engaged to Anjala and Sam threatens to tell the truth.

"Garam Masala" is fairly run of the mill "Bollywood" fayre and it is not as impressive as recent Indian films like "Rang De Basanti" and "Salaam Namaste". The acting was a bit over the top and the songs were disappointing. The film is a sort of comedy of errors as a photographer from a glossy magazine gets engaged simultaneously to three nubile air hostesses. This leads to a confusing and somewhat irritating web of deceit being spun which ends being unravelled in a less than exciting finale. The plot wasn't that credible and I didn't find the film particularly amusing , with most of the humour based around the endless lies spewing forth from the mouth of the leading character, Mac (Akshay Kumar).On the plus side the Mauritian setting for "Garam Masala " is bright and colourful and the females are very attractive .
