A brilliant tale.......must buy.

Product Description

Peter Bleksley was the best undercover cop Scotland Yard ever had. In over ten years operating in covert squads, he came up against some of the most hardened, lethal and bizarre underworld operators, constantly putting his life on the line so that the deadliest villains would end up where they belonged: behind bars. A master of disguise, he assumed numerous identities in order to get close to his targets - drug dealer, counterfeiter, gangster and hitman to name just a few. So determined was he to nail his man, he would even have to take cannabis or cocaine to remain above the suspicion of gang bosses. This is a breathtaking story that will take you inside a world that few have access to. It is the story of a man so dedicated to his job that it became more important even than his own life, a man so professional that his reputation preceded him the world over. This is the story of the Gangbuster...

A gripping and raw insight into the dark undercover world of policing. One man's compelling story spanning 10 years of working deep undercover with Scotland yard. Gangbuster sucks you into a world of drugs, guns and organised crime. A real world to crooks and criminals. One that Bleksley lived in and survived, but only just. This book takes you into this world, his world. Gangbuster is mind blowing to read and tells an amazing story, one which I couldn't put down.

A fantastic true life account of this officers undercover work with the MET. It really brings home the danger and temptation that police officers today have to cope with and the sometimes terrible support that they receive from our justice system. This is a must read and is on par with Steve Collins "the good guys wear black". I couldn't put it down !!

If you think you know what an under cover cop looks like and what they do, forget it.

You get the impression from page 1 that the author is more accustomed to pulling strokes than punches, and he doesnt let you down.. its hard hitting, in your face from start to finish.

At times I had trouble remembering who was deceiving whom, I cant imagine how he did.

In my opinion this knocks Bravo Two Zero into a cocked hat. A MUST BUY !!!
