Games for Thinking,

This review is from: Games for Thinking (Stories for Thinking) (Paperback)
As a soon to be qualified Secondary English teacher I wasn't sure whetherthis book would be suitable for the age range I would be teaching and waspleased to discover most of the activities are suitable up to adults. Thebook is sectioned into Language games, logical mathmatical games andvisual, spacial and kinaesthetic games. There are literally loads ofactivities that could either be used as starters or developed into a wholelesson. The language section has games under sub sections such as poetry, speaking and listening and concept and look like interesting ways to getany class to think. I think this will be a very useful resourse for anyclassroom from primary upwards...even party games!

Games for Thinking - teacher's friend.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Games for Thinking (Stories for Thinking) (Paperback)
A must have for all teachers - brimming with really useful activities which (on the basis of those I've used so far) are adored by primary school children. Some are funny, some are noisy, some are challenging; they are all useable.

Stash it!!!,
This review is from: Games for Thinking (Stories for Thinking) (Paperback)
I love this book. It has loads of practical games which challenge the way the children think and allows me an insight into the way that they think. Now if I forget to do one each day I am reminded in no uncertain terms. I would definitely recommend this book.
