3.0 out of 5 stars An entertaining read but that's all., 1 Nov 2004
This review is from: Game, Set and Matched (Paperback)
I wasn't sure what to expect from this book but felt a little disappointed that it didn't really give any insight into the Betting Exchange markets. As a professional user of betting exchanges I thought it would be interesting to read some one elses account and experiance of the market. As it turns out its sort of "Diary of a betting exchange user", rather than a constructive dialogue. If you want to be entertained then buy it but if you are looking for some insight to these markets this is not the book for you.

I bought this book as part of my training journey to becoming a full time trader, I was very disappointed as I was expecting an account of problems faced and how to overcome them along with an insight as to how the markets move.

This book is more like reading one mans pub story when you have no interest in the topic he is talking about and your forced to sit there and pretend to be interested.

I quickly skim read this book as it contained nothing I have not already picked up myself.I would recommend anyone who wants to get into the exchanges and trading to put your money into another book as this is little more than a diary or wins and losses with no conclusions given or methods explained. I suspect the first review to be the authors wife or member of family.
