Biography

ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS have informed the music industry that heavy, technical music can be successful since unveiling their Century Media debut album, The Game of Life. The band has created a sound all their own and have become well known for their brand of grind, which has even been featured on MTV’s Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Duel II. Now ARSONISTS are back with a brand ... Read more in Amazon's Arsonists Get All the Girls Store

4.0 out of 5 stars Eclectic and Exciting 16 Aug 2007
Format:Audio CD
This is the second offering from Arsonsists Get All the Girls (AGATG) and it is without doubt a much more mature effort than Hits from the Bow. They are now signed to Century Media and the big label support is there to hear with a polished finished to this album.

To describe their music is quite a challenge, they have a hardcore/death metal sound (in the style of bands like Between the Buried and Me), but they also have a keyboard which plays a major role in their music, similar to Horse the Band I suppose.

If you are not sure about this band I would suggest you take a risk, their sound is vast and eclectic. If you like the following bands, you will enjoy AGATG: Between the Buried and Me, Horse the Band, Black Dahlia Murder, Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza.

Buy it from the 2nd hand sellers, you'll get it for half the price, but you may have to wait a week or 2 for it to arrive from the US.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality 7 Feb 2008
Format:Audio CD
I think that the album is much better than their first but metalcore with a dance twist is an amazing idea, it goes really well, theres some old quality there with the heavyness but i think its really good, people should not buy their first album hits from the bow but do buy Suicide silence's album the clensing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great stuff 5 Dec 2007

Took this cd a while to grow on me, but now i can't stop listening. For fans of the Locust, The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, and The # 12 Looks Like You.
4.0 out of 5 stars metalcore opinion 16 Jun 2010
By Kalido - Published on Amazon.com
If you like metalcore you MAY like this cd but, i feel its unlikely for most people.

First off this is a very well produced, recorded and written CD.

Lemme get to the gist.

There are going to be long intros for some of the songs, especially the later tracks. 13 Year old Ruby and the mexican Robendo song have really long intros and are quite boring until you get into the song.

I feel like they tried to be very...atmospheric. It was successful but I do not think its for everyone.

This is not like their prior CD. Its more structured with alot less Grind/rapid energy parts.

There are breakdowns, they're alot "slower" compared to the prior cd but they do exsist and are done quite nicely.

No clean vocals. Also, two vocalists both do a great job of working together.

So, keep in mind...this is a change from the last CD. Its well done, has some really great guitar but its an evolution and thats hard for some people to accept.

I personally thought this CD was just alright for the most part. I wouldn't miss it. I've got some favorites on there though and I will put it in my rotation from time to time.

enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Arsonists Get All The Girls 30 Jan 2008
By Kyle Notch - Published on Amazon.com

excellent band with a swell name. i don't see how the previous reviewer could call this cd boring, even if you don't like it. the sound is completly progressive and it flows. a lot of the time when a band tries to get crazy it's not fluent. it's butter. this is the best hardcore band out right now, as well as the best cd of it's genre.
