Dirt and dust build-up on your system's laser lens can cause audio and video drop-out and distortion. For optimal performance, laser lens cleaning is recommended monthly, or after every 40 hours of use. Safe, gentle cleaning of the laser lens mechanism is possible with the innovative 10-brush Cyclone Clean Process featured in all DI laser lens cleaning products. Removing dust, dirt, and debris from the laser lens of your game system helps maintain the life of the device, while improving image and sound playback. The GameDr Premier Laser Lens Cleaner features the same 10-brush Cyclone Clean Process as in our original Laser Lens Cleaner, but now includes Zero-Clearance Technology to work with today's advanced game systems, including those with Blu-ray devices.

Ten brushes are arranged in a spiral pattern on the disc for quick and effective cleaning of the laser lens. Our exclusive, patent-pending Zero-Clearance Technology allows each cleaning brush to flex into a pocket on the disc while spinning so they will not knock the laser lens out of alignment. This technology is especially important for Blu-ray devices, where the laser lens is less than .004" away from the disc.

    Didn't have anything to lose, PS3 wasn't reading Blu-Ray discs, so tried this. Unfortunately it didn't make any difference. Still wouldn't read discs after cleaning.

    Ended up taking PS3 apart and manually cleaning the lens with cotton bud. So far seems to be working perfectly. SONY tried to rip me off and give me a refurb for £130.

    So no, wouldn't recommend this for Blu-Ray cleaning. If ur confident and PS3 is out of warranty U could try cleaning the lens, but I stress only if u are sure u know what ur doing.

    Seen a lot of bad reviews for this product on other sites but my PS3 was skipping and refusing to load certain games with heavy Blu-Ray vid content so I gave it a try. Put this lil CD on and it fixed everything. Its not a magic wand so it wont fix problems with software or electrinic mis-haps so make sure you know the underlying problem of the player before buying, otherwise you'll be disapointed. Its designed to clean the laser lense and does it well so if your audio and video is skipping or stalling then give this a try. If this CD doesn't work then the problem obviosuly lies elsewhere.

    Didnt fix PS3 9 Sep 2009
    Just tried this disk in my PS3 to fix my disk loading problem, have given it 3 attempts but the problem is still there. While i have no doubt that the little brushes on the bottom of the disk do clear off any debris which may be on top of the laser lense, this is not a cure all for any problems you may be experiencing. If your problem is with a PS3 i would reccomend ringing Sony's helpline first before purchasing this product, and maybe look at re-formatting the console also.

    Excellent
    My Sony Blu-Ray player suddenly stopped playing Blu-ray disks (but not regular DVDs). I gave this product a whirl, and the machine is working perfectly again.
