We had this set for our daughter who is now seven and it was much larger - the wipe off sheets were nearly A4 in size and there were 4 spaces to try out your own letters. The waterbased black pen it arrived with ran out pretty quickly so we used other wipe off pens on it and a little extra elbow grease to clean it off. despite this it lasted well for several years but when our 5 year old seemed keen to use it I felt it needed replacing so I ordered a new one - imagine my surprise to discover it had shrunk! Just like the old set but smaller!!
Overall I think learning to block print has to be questioned. My children are home educated and so not bound by the current fashions at school (thank-goodness!) For my youngest son I suspect we will simply delay learning to write and go straight to joined up handwriting rather than having to learn twice.
