Product Description

Galloping Minds is a series devised for the developing minds of babies and kids from about 6 months to 6 years. Children can easily identify the objects associated with each alphabet. Older kids learn the alphabet, words and spellings, while younger ones are exposed to a large number of objects. Kids of all ages enjoy light classical music. The video displays more than 110 objects with uppercase and lowercase letters and spellings and vivid animations.

4.0 out of 5 stars My son liked it 29 Oct 2006
By Heather
Format:DVD
I bought this DVD for my three year old. He enjoyed it and wanted to watch it again. Its long, about 40-45 minutes, so it occupied him. Depending on what you are looking for, I think its a good educational DVD. It has many objects and animals. Peppy music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Alphabet and Phonics - Good DVD 2 July 2006
Format:DVD
My two year old has been watching this DVD for 2 months and not bored with it. I am happy with it. The music is soothing and my daughter likes it. Most other similiar DVDs have too much going on in them. This DVD focuses on just what I think is appropriate for 2 year olds. The DVD is calming and simple.

1.0 out of 5 stars Too American 7 Nov 2006
Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
The narrator's American accent is grating, as is the use of American words ('D' for 'diaper'). The DVD is also incompatible with the style of phonics currently used to teach reading in British schools, where children are first taught the sounds corresponding to each letter. This DVD teaches only the names of the letters.

Very disappointing.
