Had some quite good information for anyone who has gallbladder problems. When I had my bile duct blocked with three gallstones I suffered same problems as the author and can tell you it was terrifying. Although the surgeon explained what had happened and about the stent he then put in, I did not find much help forthcoming as to how to survive ,what to eat etc from Dr or nurses in hospital. To tell someone to keep to a strictly no fat diet until removal of gallbladder planned in 3 months and not provide helpful advice is no help at all. Must say, although the author has written his experiences ,I did find it helpful and yes,it helps to keep a sense of humour about the whole thing. Hopefully, once my op has been done all will be well but am sure this book will be of some help and guidance as to diet etc.

As a person who had been very ill with obstructive jaundice and the complications that ensued including losing my Gall Bladder. Much of the book I can relate too and it helped me in simple terms and humour to understand my condition and the on going issues. A short book but very good non the less.

Helpful to me having just had my gall bladder, but also recently lent to a friend who is still suffering with her diet since her gall bladder was removed 2 years ago. She has read the book twice and plans to order a copy of the book for herself.

Well written, the only book I could find tackling this subject directly (post gall bladder operation). Very helpful, a must if you've had the op.

Thank you Mr Bernal, I have followed the advice you give in this book and I am now feeling 100% better than I did before I bought the book. I would recommend this book to anyone who is having problems after having their gall bladder removed. It may or may not work for you too but it's certainly worth a try!
