If there is every a sure sign of quality it is surely the ACE label. Pitched between soul and the blues, LJT gives it his all. This compilation covers releases issued between 1963 and 1968 through Galaxy Records, itself a subsidiary of the legendary Fantasy label. What you get is 26 slices of musical history - not all hits or well trodden songs but all brimming with fervour, passion and sheer musicality. Buy with confidence that this will guarantee to put a smile on your face.
I commend this CD to the House.
