It is hard to praise this book highly enough, detailed scientific fact is beautifully combined with stunning photography in an entirely engaging and meticulous fashion. For anyone wishing to travel to the Galapagos this is a must-have, and for arm-chair adventurers this gives all the necessary thrills through the eyes of the skilled and intrepid scientists.

This is a different style book to Tui De Roy's previous books on the Galapagos,as it has chapters by many authors. Each deals with a specific aspect in their own field of expertise and as such are of great interest. The photography is, as always outstanding. The book has been well edited.
