Our wonderful Gaggia Baby had stopped dispensing espresso completely, so i tried dismantling the likely bits, and cleaning them up. Once re-assembled, disappointly there was still no flow at all from the espresso outlets. So I tried this product as a last resort.

I found the english translation of the instructions somewhat confusing, and I came close to burning myself with the steam-wand as a result. Anyway, after some trial and error I discovered how to flush through the considerable quantity of diluted descaler, followed by several litres of clean water. It took about 2 hrs in all. However, our Gaggia Baby is now reborn and fully functional!!

I think I will now use this descaler every year (not 6 months as recommended on product, as a preventative. It certainly works brilliantly!

Some notes:
1. Ready mixed fluid
2. Use one bottle per de-scale
3. Machine was definitely healthier afterwards!

Different manufacturers use different seal and tubing materials in their machines. These can be damaged by using the wrong descaling solution. A friend of mine recently wrote off his rather expensive Krups automatic by using cheap kettle descaler - it's not worth the risk. I have a Gaggia, so used this descaler, which (unusually) is Lactic acid based. It seemed to work fine and left no discernible taste in the machine. No complaints.

If your well used and beloved Gaggia coffee machine has gone from a flow of fresh coffee to a trickle then this descaler may be the answer.
With no complicated dissassembling of your machine, the descaler cleans and renews the internal parts and restores the machine to a lovely strong flow of fresh coffee - almost as new.
It's very easy to do and will only take an hour or so to do (spread over a morning). Think of it as a five thousand 'cup' service for your Gaggia machine, leaving it ready to serve you many more fantastic cups of coffee in the future.

This is certainly a good product and easy to use with my Gaggia Titanium, however I was surprised to find that you have to use the whole bottle per decalcification, this makes it an expensive product - but saying that; if you spend hundreds of pounds on your coffee machine, I suppose £6 a month is little to pay to keep your machine in good condition.

Worked a treat and I was almost ready to throw out my Gaggia coffee machine. Saved it for a small price and must now remember to regularly descale.

Allyou have to do is follow the instructions. However bear this in mind: you do not have to use the whole bottle for the descaling procedure as it is stated in the instructions in the bottle label. The instruction manual of the GAGGIA Classic that i own stated that i had to use only half of it, I did it and the result was perfect. This is an excellent product!

Purchased via Amazon a few days ago. Came next day and sorted out my Baby Gaggia machine which I thought had given up the ghost. Great product and i can now have a decent cup of coffee again.
